USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Everybody loves to watch movies, with Bollywood being our favourite since it's full of masala! And needless to say we savour happy endings in them… Quoting the great Om Prakash Makhija (Shah Rukh Khan) urf Omi, "Agar picture mein Happys Endings nahin toh picture abhi baaki hai mere dost".

But sadly, not all films end that way. Yes, it may seem that every grief has passed now, but if you give it a thought, indeed not 'all izz well' in these films!

1. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

Perhaps this film is the biggest mine of hidden tragedies! It had poor dadi living in pain whose last wish was to see her granddaughter get married before she died and poor Punjab da sher Kuljeet (Parmeet Sethi) who was tricked by his hone wali biwi's bboyfriend, was beaten up in front of his baarati and didn't even get Simran (Kajol) or the 'Stroh's beer factory'. Then there's Preeti (Mandira Bedi) who did the mother of all fasts – Karwa Chauth for the ungrateful Raj (Shah Rukh Khan). And how can anyone forget Kammo bua (Himani Shivpuri)?!! Poor bua… she'll remain single all her life. Well done Dharamvir Malhotra (Anupam Kher)!

Tara (Dimple Kapadia) died folks, he's alone… Hush a little! Oh yes… he got that weird gypsy girl wandering in the ruins of Goa during the end credits… But so what?!! What about poor Deepa?!! This one is truly a ghazab kahani. Jenny (Katrina Kaif) was head over heels in love with Rahul (Upen Patel) and so was he!
