Julianne Moore and Ellen Page are costarring in an indie drama,“Freehold,” about two women in love, and it’s based on a true story. Julianne ‘s character is a New Jersey police detective who was unable to assign her pension benefits to her auto mechanic partner, played by Page, after she becomes terminally ill. Ellen came out as a lesbian last February, and says she’s become a much happier since then.
