It was a touch-and-go situation for Shraddha Kapoor at Mehboob Studios, Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon, when members of Dawood’s family barged in at her shooting of Haseena, the bio-pic on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

Apparently some members of the Dawood family dropped in unannounced to meet the ‘reel’ Haseena Parkar.

Eyewitnesses say Shraddha panicked and hid in her vanity van. But the guests were insistent and relentless. They refused to return without meeting the actress.

Says a source from Lakhia’s crew, “There were  Haseena Parkar’s three children Alishah, Umeria  and Khushiyan and Haseena’s brother Sameer Antulay. Initially Shraddha and the rest of the cast including Siddharth Kapoor who plays her brother Dawood, and Ankur Bhatia who plays Haseen’s husband, were alarmed. But then the atmosphere softened. The tension dissolved.”

Apparently Haseena’s family liked what they saw.

Says the source, “Haseena Parkar’s children and brother fell in love with the way the film was being shot. They had come prepared for the eventuality of falling in love with the film. They had gotten along the real Haseena’s personal belongings, her reading glasses, nose ring and her favourite lipstick which they presented to Shraddha.”

Ankur Bhatia who plays Shraddha’s husband says, “It was an amazing experience for me to meet Haseena Parkar’s children. I had not met them before. They showed me some old photos of their father and gave me tips which will be really useful to play Haseena’s husband.”
