Everyone in Bollywood who is someone is busy expressing surprise and delight at Akshay Kumar’s unscheduled appearance at Salman Khan’s Da Bangg concert in Hong Kong. A lot is being written about the friendship between the two stars, now being cemented with a film directed by Anurag Singh featuring Akshay Kumar that Salman will produce.
For all we know Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan may indeed be friends. But Akshay did not join the Da Bangg concert in Hong Kong for Salman.
A source close to the Da Bangg concerts spills the beans. “Akshay Kumar is very close to Kishore Samtani, one of the Hong Kong promoters of the Da Bangg concert tour. It was on Samtani’s request that Akshay agreed to join the Hong Kong performance of Da Bangg. He won’t be accompanying Salman for the rest of the tour.”
