The legendary Amitabh Bachchan has encouraged and endorsed many social campaigns including the polio awareness and the actor now extends his support to fight against the killer disease AIDS. Being an initiative taken by the international Stanford University in association with the NGO affiliated with them called TeachAids, an animated film has been created to spread awareness about the disease and its consequences.
This is the recent picture of the actor lending his voice for this film which is dubbed in English and Hindi. Amitabh not only posted the picture on his blog but also wrote about this film saying, "A Stanford University initiative called TeachAids, which makes the people aware of certain facts of the disease, has made an animated film on various necessary details that need to be streamed out to the public at large. My voice in Hindi and in English was required and since it came as a request from Amala, wife of Nagarjun, or Nag as he is fondly called – the superstar from the Telugu region – it required to be exercised and acknowledged! I am glad that it is over .. it did entail great amount of time and energy … but a job that created some satisfaction."
