Bank robber Andrew Davis of Mississauga arrested by Toronto police

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in two bank robberies.

It is alleged that:

– on Friday, July 22, 2016, a man entered a bank in the Yonge Street/Sheppard Avenue area

– the man received money after showing a hold-up note indicating that he had a gun

It is further alleged that:

– on Friday, August 5, 2016, the same man entered a bank in the Eglinton Avenue/Yonge Street area

– the man received money after showing a hold-up note

On Wednesday, October 19, 2016, Andrew Davis, 32, of Mississauga, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) two counts of Robbery

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Thursday, October 20, 2016, 10 a.m.
