PokhriyalBJP is on its way to bring a major change in Uttarakhand by replacing Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ with previous chief minister B S Khanduri.

As this is a crucial issue so no final decision has been taken by BJP. This issue of leadership change was brought under discussion at the party’s parliamentary board conference on Thursday evening. 

The decision to change of the leadership will take place after the meeting on Friday. BJP has decided in the recent meetings to clean up its house in the state ridden with factional politics and bring Khanduri back in the position of CM. 

Change in leadership will add credibility to BJP as 2012 election nears. This change is seen as positive development and was introduced by the party president Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh.
