Visitors face trouble at the Brazil Music Festival

brazil-music-festival-million-small-53781 copyBrazilian police has reported that unknown gunmen entered by force into a hostel crammed with vacationers attending the popular music festival in the capital of Brazil, They temporarily held the visitors hostage before running away with their valuables.

An officer reported that as many as 20 people were robbed in day light on Sunday. The people who were robbed were mainly Brazilian nationals, but there were also at least 3 French citizens.

Marcos Moreira and officer of Brazilian police reported that as many as five gunmen stormed into the hostel and tied up a number of the tourists in order to nick their valuables like clothes, money and mobiles.

Thankfully there was no report of physical damage to any of the tourist. Thousands of tourist and visitors have flogged into Rio de Janeiro to witness the biggest musical festival that has seen stars like Shakira, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Elton John set the stage alight.
