On Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 5:30 p.m., police responded to a call for a sexual assault at the Castle Frank subway station.
It is alleged that:
– a 32-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at a convenience store in the Danforth Avenue/Broadview Avenue area,
– the woman then walked to the Castle Frank subway station where police were contacted.
German Alvarenga Alas, 37, of no fixed address, has been charged with:
1) two counts of Sexual Assault,
2) Criminal Harassment,
3) Possession a Controlled Substance.
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, room 101, at 10 a.m.
Police are believe there may be more victims.
