A 19-year-old Edmonton man has been charged in connection with the cities third pedestrian fatal that occurred April 6th at 10:15 p.m. in the area of 66 Street and 31 Avenue. Shayne Glugosh has been charged with careless driving.
Background:
A 71 year-old male was crossing the road from east to west across 66 Street at the time of the collision.
The driver of a Jeep YJ was traveling southbound. The 71-year-old man was taken to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the Jeep was not injured.
