Durham police investigate a series of possible animal cruelty incidents in Clarington

Durham Regional Police are asking for the public’s help after a decapitated rabbit was found outside a school in Clarington.

Investigators say they were called to Good Shephard Catholic School on Farmington Drive in Clarington after reports a decapitated rabbit was found on the grass outside the building. It’s believed the cut was caused by a blunt object.

Police are looking into the incident as this is the third mutilated rabbit found outside the school in the past year. The first was located a year ago and the second earlier this spring.
