In May 2010, acting on a tip, the Toronto Police Service’s Child Exploitation Unit began an investigation.
It is alleged that:
– the accused frequented internet and telephone dating services, looking for single women with children,
– a search warrant was executed at the accused’s home and child sexual abuse images were seized.
On May 6, 2010, Robert Rayner, 50, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1. two counts of Possession child pornography,
2. two counts of Make child pornography.
Police believe there may be more victims.
