On Tuesday, January 25, 2010, at 1:30 a.m., police arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
It is reported that:
– on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at 1:30 a.m., a 22-year-old woman entered a taxi cab in the Yonge Street/Charles Street area,
– the taxi cab driver drove the woman to an address in the west end of the city,
– the taxi cab driver stopped the cab and entered the rear seat of the cab,
– the taxi cab driver sexually assaulted the woman,
– the woman then exited the cab.
Hashi Jama Guled, 59, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Sexual Assault.
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, room 101, at 2 p.m.
The investigation is still ongoing.
