On Thursday September 13th, 2012, Tottenham is taking on Barcelona in the NextGen Series at White Hart Lane, London in the first group match. The NextGen Series is a six month European competition featuring the best youth football flair on the continent. Twenty-four of Europe’s cream of the crop football clubs are involved including FC Barcelona, Chelsea FC and Inter Milan.

Probable Tottenham line-up for match includes Friedel; Walker, Gallas, Vertonghen, Assou-Ekotto; Dembele, Sandro, Livermore, Bale; Defoe, Adebayor.

The midfielder pulled the adductor in his right leg during the Spain-Georgia match and will miss this game. Barcelona has played well in this season and they unlikely to make many changes from the side that defeated their last rival. The Barcelona line up likely to play include: Valdés; Alves, Piqué, Puyol, Adriano; Thiago, Busquets, Cesc; Alexis, Messi, Alba.
