The 2012 UCLA Bruins women’s soccer team takes the field for another year of action-packed competition. Last season was the first for head coach B.J. Snow and he led the team through one of the best seasons ever for a first-year head coach, starting off with 12 straight wins and taking the team all the way to the NCAA Tournament. For 2012, the team is already on the path to another strong season with a string of wins under their belt. This year’s line-up includes 2012 Olympians Rosie White and Chelsea Stewart. Midfielder Samantha Mewis will be looking to step into the position of lead scorer for the team. She scored six goals last season and is expected to be a double-digit scorer this year, continuing UCLA’s tradition of offensive domination in the Pac-12.
