InterACT Theatre Company presents the Los Angeles premiere of Benched, by Richard Broadhurst. The play revolves around Max, a cantankerous but good-hearted senior citizen who makes his way to his favorite bench in Central Park one day — where he plans to commit suicide. But he soon discovers that the bench is occupied by Randall, a cheery man who seems determined to interfere with Max’s plans. Benched stars Eddie Jones, winner of the LADCC Best Actor Award for Death of a Salesman and John Towey (Old Wicked Tales Colony Theatre), and features Kelly Lohman and Matt Fowler.
