Strange sounds heard worldwide from Canada to Europe

Something strange is afoot --- unknown sounds heard globally over the past few days, basically starting up in rapid pace on January 11, 2012 --- up until yesterday (jan 16 2012). No one knows how long this will continue, or what it is.

The new term : H.U.O. = hearing unknown object

What could all these sounds heard this past week around the world have come from? What do you think is causing this phenomenon?

Everyone is still trying to figure this mystery out.

It can’t be "fake" option -- too many videos popping up for this to be a hoaxer.

This DID happen in Oshawa Ont yesterday morning at 3 - 5am. I am easily one of the most skeptical people out there and I honestly cannot believe it still. Neighbours were out and no one said a word. Why? Because it was the most insane thing any of us had ever experienced. I don't know what caused it but it IS extremely real.

You're right Jono, a lots of sounds didn't match with the winter season of the place, Montreal in january have actually 2 ft of snow, I do not know what they try to validate with this acticle??
I do not refute the fact that it has sounds around the world, but a lot of differents mills can produce this type of sounds, I actualy have a businees near a metal factory and it is exactly the same noise. Please do not become hysterical paranoiac.

In Oshawa Ontario last night this sound was heard all over Oshawa at approximately 3:30-4:30 am off and on. Many recordings on YouTube on it. This is a STRANGE phenomena! People, some of the videos are fake but something is going on! Be prepared!

After reading the comments I have to agree with Jack Phillip on this one. If this was occurring you would hear a lot of people in full out panic on the videos, especially in different languages. No one would just stand there filming with no response. Plus I heard nothing of this on any accredited news stations. There would have been mass pandemonium on an epic scale if this really did occur. There would be more people on the streets preaching the words of God for the end times and to save your soul before it's too late.
What this sounds like is binary beats, and if this really did occur you would also see birds being startled and hundreds flying around with little idea of where to go to save themselves from this unknown phenomenon.
This will only be the first of these occurrences on the web this year. It's a year filled with philosophical propaganda.

Last week around 6 pm my Son and Daughter was out side and right above our heads it was this crazy almost glass breaking sound started out soft and increased in power right above where we were standing it came from the sky but there was no lights no flashes and my son said what is that i said i have no glue and it happen again and he went inside the door because he said don't be out there what is going on and i said OMG its coming from up there but where so i am going to try every evening to see if i hear this again i have never never heard anything like this, BUT I DO KNOW GOD SAID I WILL GIVE YOU SIGNS IN THE EARTH MOON AND STARS Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
