Last week Ryan Gosling visited Brock University in St Catharines, Ont. and created quite a stir among students. He came to watch his mother Donnagraduate with a Bachelors degree in Education. Students who heard rumors of his attendance brought cameras and waited outside the auditorium in hopes that Gosling would appear. Not only did he show up, but he brought his girlfriend Eva Mendes. Two major movie stars are a rare occurrence in that town! He and Eva sat in the back and clapped and took photos when his mom was given her diploma onstage. Ryan was nice to all, but avoided photos or making a fuss, saying ”This is my mom’s day.”Sweet.
