What a surprise. We didn’t even realize that “Little House on the Prairie” starMelissa Gilbert, 48, and “Thirtysomething” star Timothy Busfield, 55, were dating, much less engaged! (It will be the third marriage for both of them) You may recall, according to TMZ, Timothy was accused of sexual battery in May of 2012. He took a date (not Melissa) to the Arclight theater in Sherman Oaks and they kissed during the movie. The date claimed that Tim subsequently groped her against her will, and filed a report – police investigated, but the matter was dropped. Apparently this “bad date” didn’t deter Melissa, and they got engaged over the holidays.
