Since 2016, Steven Seagal has maintained a strong affinity with Vladimir Putin, primarily based on their shared interest in martial arts. Seagal established a martial arts academy in Moscow, and as a result, Putin awarded him Russian citizenship.
Seagal expressed immense gratitude towards Putin, proclaiming him to be “perhaps the greatest world leader alive today!” Seagal has also endorsed the invasion of Ukraine and accused the US government of disseminating misinformation in the media to weaken morale in Russia.
In February, Putin conferred the Order of Friendship medal upon Seagal. What lies ahead for the actor?
