Penny Marshall recently celebrated her 70th birthday with a huge party at her home in the Hollywood Hills and it seems like a miracle. Remember, she wasdiagnosed with a brain tumor and liver cancer in 2009 and given months to live- especially by The National Enquirer. She went through several rounds of chemotherapy and is now in remission and feeling great. Penny directed “Big” and“A League of Their Own” and now she’s looking for the right script so she can return to directing.
