Boy, were we relieved to hear that George Clooney looked at and quickly passed on buying this indulgent palace near Beirut, Lebanon! He’s looking to buy a home for his wife Amal’s family, and this house was just TOO MUCH at 40,000 sq ft and 32 bedrooms, but it has an interesting past. (Star magazine is calling Amal a goldigger because of George’s apparent generosity.) This house is owned by Las Vegas billionaireRamon DeSage, who lived there with his model exwife Debra DeSageand their 7 children, plus a staff of 100! When Ramon was arrested for tax evasion, Debra and the kids scrammed to Beverly Hills to start a new life. Appropriately, they are being wooed to appear on a reality show with Debra’s new best friend John Luciano.
