Romantic songs are the soul of Bollywood. This year the female singer who has sung the most romantic songs has without a doubt been the very talented Tulsi Kumar. Her songs Soch Na Sake from Airlift and Salaamat from Sarabjit were big hits. Recently her title track of Wajah Tum Ho, sung with Altamash Faridi beautifully composed by Mithoon has been topping the charts and has a very mellifluous and soulful feel to it. The singer is also a part of an out and out romantic number called Dekh Lena with Arijit Singh in the musical Tum Bin 2.
Industry insiders reveal that Tulsi’s recent releases strike the right chord amongst the audiences. Tulsi is extremely thrilled about lending her voice to the recreated cult songs Aise na mujhe tum dekho and Dil Ke Paas in Wajah Tum Ho. With so many super romantic back-to-back hits, Tulsi has also become a hot favourite performer at events. She recently performed at the prestigious Mood Indigo at IIT Bombay campus and the college students had a blast craving for more.
