Rang De Basanti actor Siddharth, who works in Tamil industry as well, is known for taking a stand on various issues. Now, Siddharth has raised his voice against Ranveer Singh’s new ad for a clothing brand.

Siddharth called out Ranveer Singh’s new ad for the brand Jack and Jones in which he is lifting a woman on his shoulder while another man looks at the girl. He called out the brand for objectifying women and said that it’s a new low for women at the workplace.

Siddharth wasn’t the only one who has criticized the ad. As soon as the photo went viral on social media, people started slamming the brand as well as the face of the brand Ranveer Singh for coming out with such a degrading ad.

A few months ago, Siddharth had also raised his voiced against the film industry on their idea of romanticising stalkers in movies. He had said, “We’ve been selling a terrible dream in our films for long. That any man can get the woman he wants just by wanting her enough. Must change.”
