Earlier this week, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar began shooting for his next directorial titled Indu Sarkar which will feature Pink actress Kirti Kulhari in the lead. The film shooting began in the chilly Delhi.

An ecstatic Kirti Kulhari shared a candid photo of her with director Madhur Bhandarkar while the latter explained the scene to her. As the film is set in India’s 18-month Emergency period of 1975, Kirti is seen donning a green colour salwar kameez with braids. She captioned the photo, “A sneak peek into the 70’s of  Dilli.. With my director @imbhandarkar.. #InduSarkar.. #bobby.. #connaughtplace..”

Indu Sarkar is a story of a girl with a speech impediment who is a poetess. The film stars Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and the Bengali actor Tota Roy Chowdhury.
