This week sees the release of the most awaited film of the year Dangal, which stars the inimitable Aamir Khan in the lead. Those who have seen the film simply cannot stop raving about it. For the uninitiated, Dangal has been inspired by the real life story of Mahavir Singh Phogat and the determination with which he nurtured his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat into winning glory for India in wrestling, a sport which was only dominated by men.
Time and again, Aamir Khan has always attributed the film and praised Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters for their journey. Recently, the legendary diva Rekha caught up with the glorious Mahavir Singh Phogat, who was accompanied with his family, during a special screening of Dangal, which was also attended by Sakshi Tanwar.
Rekha was reportedly extremely happy and impressed meeting the Phogats. She also praised the Phogats for fighting against all odds and bringing glory to our nation.
