While the films of yesteryears resorted to purely media for publicity, these days, the films resort to not just the media but also social media. Shah Rukh Khan, who is known to aggressively promote his films, has chosen a ‘hands-on’ approach to promote his upcoming film Raees.

As a part of the film’s promotions, Shah Rukh Khan will now be travelling to Delhi by train! You heard it right. Shah Rukh Khan will be boarding the train to Delhi rather than going by the ‘aerial route’. Buzz is that, besides Shah Rukh Khan, there will also be Raees’ producer Riteish Sidhwani and its director Rahul Dholakia who will be taking the train. One of the reasons for Shah Rukh Khan’s journey by train is because it is in sync with his character in the film.

The train that Shah Rukh Khan and his team will be boarding will be ‘August Kranti Express’ on January 23 from Mumbai Central at 5 pm. The said train will be reaching Hazrat Nizamuddin station at 10.55 am the next day. The stations in which the train will be halting include Andheri, Borivali, Vapi, Walsad, Surat, Baruch, Baroda, Ratlam, Kota, Savai Modhopur and Mathura.

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, Raees also stars Mahira Khan and Nawzudin Siddiqui. The film is slated to release on January 25 this year.
