Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest movie stars in the world. Over the years I have realised that Khan is loved across the world (you will be surprised with his fan following in the remotest of places all across the world) for his charm, romance, acting skills and there is a vast majority of people who love him because of his words of wisdom spoken through media interviews, speeches or his speeches during the award shows. Recently when I asked for questions on Twitter before SRK’s interview, a deluge of tweets surfaced within no time. I found this particular note from an SRK fan really endearing. I read it out to Mr Khan at the end of his interview and he reacted beautifully. Over to the message from Ikra from England and then SRK’s response:
“Shah Rukh, I have been a fan almost for 20 years. Everything I do is related to you. My childhood memories are of you and I have never met you. I never tried. My New Year resolution every year is to meet you but I get so scared even if I get the slightest chance. I have loved you all my life and it is so scary for me to meet you and then probably never see you again. I don’t want to meet you just once and leave it at that. I have never thought beyond you. My life starts and ends with you. You have the answers to everything and I just wanted you to know this. Hoping I get the courage to meet you this year.

Shah Rukh Khan: “Don’t be scared. Come and meet me, it’s all right. Whether you meet me again or not doesn’t make a difference, meet me once it’ll be nice because I love you too. Thank you very much Ikra.”
