From Shah Rukh Khan playing a life coach to Aamir Khan playing a music teacher, superstars are now being associated with films that may not be quintessential commercial entertainers but have them doing unique roles. While there was constant buzz about Aamir Khan’s role in the forthcoming role in Secret Superstar, here are the details about his character in the film.
Reportedly, Aamir Khan has as much as 40 minutes screen time as a musician in the forthcoming musical drama. Playing the role of the protagonist and his student is Zaira Wasim, who also played the role of his daughter, the young Geeta Phogat in Dangal. From what we hear, Aamir Khan as a teacher provides a platform Zaira who constantly aspires to be a singer.
Knowing Aamir Khan’s dedication towards his art, it is being said that the actor underwent prep for about 40 weeks. Advait Chandan, who has assisted Aamir Khan in many of his ventures, makes his directorial debut with Secret Superstar and had requested the actor to do a special appearance. Not only did Aamir Khan immediately agree, but the actor and his wife are also co-producing the film.
