The last few days have been really tough for Kapil Sharma, Sony TV, Sunil Grover and millions of fans of widely watched ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. After repeated attempts by Kapil Sharma to apologise to Sunil Grover for the inflight brawl between them yielded no response from the latter, Sony TV decided to intervene and do the needful. They too were unsuccessful in convincing the ‘self-respecting’ Sunil Grover to make a comeback on the show. After repeated failures, Sony TV played it smart and managed to convince Sunil Grover to play his extremely famous caricatured characters of ‘Dr. Mashoor Gulati’ and ‘Rinku Bhabhi’.
Before your excitement hit the skies, let us reveal that, Sunil Grover’s comeback as the two popular characters are not for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, but for the finale episode of Sony TV’s famous reality show ‘Indian Idol’. An insider from the channel told Bollywood Hungama that, it was indeed a smart move by Sony TV to get Sunil Grover to perform on ‘Indian Idol’. The source added that, since Sunil Grover was still under contract with Sony TV, there was no way he could refuse to appear on the show. With all the eyes eagerly awaiting the comeback of Sunil Grover as ‘Dr. Mashoor Gulati’ and ‘Rinku Bhabhi’, the channel is expecting the finale episode of ‘Indian Idol’ to garner staggering TRPs.
Meanwhile, while Sunil Grover is busy doing live shows, Kapil Sharma is simultaneously dabbling with ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as well the shooting of his upcoming film Firangi.
