Homi Adajania surprised everyone as he announced his next titled Takadum with a unique casting of Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra with Irrfan Khan. While initially it created a lot of buzz, it soon died down sparking speculations about it being shelved.
However, putting an end to all these rumours, Homi Adajania though agreed that the film has been delayed; he definitely asserts that the film will be made. The initial subject he was working on had the script taking us to New York. But now it has been shifted to our city Mumbai and because of the same, the script is being reworked on.
Confirming the same, Homi revealed that he had work on the script since it had to be translated from an English set up to Hindi and the transition seemed forced in the initial script. He also added that the team is rewriting the same. Further talking about his adjusting cast, Homi mentioned that even though they were about to start shooting, the crew as well as the cast agreed for the re-scripting since all of them wanted to ensure that they could make it best.
