After one and half year of hiatus, Parineeti Chopra is returning to the big screen with Yash Raj Films’ production, Meri Pyaari Bindu. In the film, Parineeti’s character Bindu is an aspiring singer trying to make it big in the music industry. As her character is a singer, Parineeti Chopra is also making her singing debut with the film.
Parineeti Chopra has lent her voice to the song ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin’ which is a romantic ballad. The song got quite a good response from the fans but some thought the actress was auto-tuned. Now, sharing two videos from the recording session, Parineeti Chopra is shutting down all the trolls. She wrote, “And this is how it happened! Blessed. And – No auto tune ‘Maana ke hum yaar nahin’, Meri Pyaari Bindu.” She shared another video from the session just to make it clear that she wasn’t auto-tuned. She captioned it as, “And another one. So this is how it happened!!!! Blessed. Also- my answer to all the auto tune questions … NO AUTO TUNE!! #BehindTheScenes #MaanaKeHumYaarNahin #MeriPyaariBindu.”
Directed by Akshay Roy, Meri Pyaari Bindu stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra and is releasing on May 12, 2017.
