Sona Mohapatra slams Sonakshi Sinha on twitter, gets blocked by the actress

For the past few days, the Justin Bieber musical concert has been in the limelight but for all the wrong reasons. When news of Sonakshi Sinha performing an opening act for the same went viral, renowned singers from the fraternity joined hands together in expressing their displeasure regarding the decision. Besides Kailash Kher and Armaan Malik who voiced out about their disappointment, yet another singer who has joined them is Sona Mohapatra.

In a series of tweets, Sona Mohapatra supported her co-singers Armaan Malik and Kailash Kher who voiced out their thoughts about having experienced singers perform alongside global icon Justin Bieber instead of actors. Readers may be aware that a couple of weeks ago, news reports claimed that Sonakshi Sinha, who made her singing debut in 2015, will be performing at the opening act of the Justin Bieber concert. This sparked a Twitter feud between Sonakshi and singer Armaan Malik and it resulted in the actress posting a statement that clarified that she wouldn’t be performing at the concert.

On the other hand, upset with the way Sonakshi Sinha talked with Armaan Malik and about laughing off a collaborative opportunity she received from the Malik brothers, Sona Mohapatra posted these tweets that resulted in her being blocked by the actress. “Dear Sonakshi, if you weren’t ‘performing’ at the Bieber concert like you now proclaim, then u could have just said so & not talked about  your ‘art’, your ‘dreams’ & your rights on the live performance stage. Also insulting a composer & live artist who you claimed literally ran after you to ‘collaborate’ with them. You actually laughed at them & talked down to them, instead of telling the truth? Gracious!”

She further added, “Dear lady, you were condescending to real musicians & singers all through & continue to be with this juvenile ‘face saving’ post now. SAD.”

Soon after Sona posted her comments, the singer was blocked by Sonakshi Sinha and she uninhibitedly shared a screenshot of the same.
