With many actors coming out in support of animals, Sonakshi Sinha too has time and again expressed her displeasure over the way some of them are treated. Unlike many of her contemporaries who are aggressively campaigning, Sonakshi likes to stay away from that space but that doesn’t stop her from expressing the love for her favourite pet Shirro.
Sonakshi Sinha has often spoken about her dog Shirro and has never shied away from posting about it on social media. However, she was recently left shocked when her favourite dog passed away. Posting about how much she misses him, Sona took to Instagram to share a fond memory with her Shirro as well as write a message saying, “This white lil floof left us today, after 17 years of being the naughtiest, handsomest and most loving dog/fox/cat ever. Missing you already Shirro… say hi to my other baby Nugget when u see him. And no fighting #bestdog #alldogsgotoheaven.”
On the film front, Sonakshi Sinha will continue shooting for the thriller Ittefaq which has her playing a role with shades of grey for the first time. She will also be seen sharing screen space with Sidharth Malhotra for the first time in this remake of the 1969 Rajesh Khanna, Nanda starrer. Directed by Abhay Chopra, the film is produced under three major banners which include Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and BR Films.
