Now that the trailer of Raabta has hit the tube, before kick starting the promotions for the same, Sushant Singh Rajput has plans to start on with his other projects. One of them, as mentioned before, is the space adventure Chandamama Door Ke. The film also reportedly requires extensive preparation and Sushant is now trying to undergo physical training for the same.

Also, the makers of Chandamama Door Ke aren’t leaving any stone unturned for the film and have invited Hollywood special effects director John Palmer [who has worked in over 45 films related to space that includes Apollo 13, Michael Bay’s Armageddon, Ridley Scott’s The Martian among others]  to work on the film. According to recent news reports, Sushant too confirmed the same adding that John has been working with the director of the film, Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan on creating a space suit and that he is equally kicked about getting into it.

Further giving us a glimpse of the same on social media, Sushant Singh Rajput not only posted a note but also the picture of the suit that is being created for him for the film. Adding the sketch of the same, the actor added, “Special Spacesuit designed by John Palmer of #Martian fame for Chandamama. Can’t wait to get in it and start training:) @sanjaypchauhan.”

Sushant Singh Rajput went on to reveal that he will be visiting the National Aeronautics and Space Administration aka NASA in June and that he is eagerly awaiting to experience zero gravity and 16 gravity during the training session. Director Sanjay too mentioned that Sushant prefers functionality over comfort and is ready to take the extra mile if need be for his role. Not only did he confirm about the actor’s visit to NASA but also stated that along with their help as well as John’s team, Sushant will be all set to take to the moon.

Impressed with Sushant Singh Rajput’s dedication for his role, John asserted that the spacesuit in the making has Indian elements that will not only make it aesthetically appealing but will be functional too.

Talking about the space suit, we hear that not only does it have 11 layers but it can also be worn while under water training in a 40 feet deep swimming pool. Besides Sushant, Chandamama Door Ke is also said to star R Madhavan in a prominent role.
