She is hailed as the numero uno actress of Bollywood and while it has been quite some time since we saw Deepika Padukone work her magic in Hindi films, we will soon get to see her in a rather royal avatar. However, this year, despite no Bollywood release, it was very special for the actress who decided to make a debut in Hollywood and that too opposite Vin Diesel.
Deepika Padukone’s action packed role in her debut film XXX: The Return of Xander Cage grabbed eyeballs but it was no cakewalk. The actress underwent rigorous training to get the nuances right and besides learning combat and other skills; she also had to follow a regular fitness schedule. Giving a glimpse of one such schedule of hers from the archive was her trainer Farhan Dhalla.

On the Bollywood front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati. The actress is yet to announce her next film after that.
