The super-talented Priyanka Chopra turned 35 yesterday. The actress who has been busy with her Hollywood projects and also with her new role as a producer, has been holidaying with her family, mother Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth Chopra, at an undisclosed location. She however has been posting pictures from her holiday and it seems like Priyanka and family are vacationing at a stunning beach resort overseas.
On her birthday yesterday, she posted some really heartening images and a lovely video that has made her fans very happy. The first two pictures featured a smiling Priyanka posing sexily on the beach with ‘Happy B’Day PC’ written on the beach. What’s interesting to see is that the message on the sand is written beautifully and decorated with lights of various colours. The effort seems to have surprised Priyanka Chopra. In the first pic, the text was, “Island girl… feeling very blessed and loved. Thank you to everyone for your wonderful wishes… it means the world to me to know so much love.. needed it! . #grateful ❤️. In the second pic, she put the caption that read, “Thank you @madhuchopra for the lovely surprise! ❤️”. This makes it clear that it was her mother who planned the whole surprise. In no time, she uploaded a video with the text, “Thank u to everyone… ❤️#islandgirl #familytime @madhuchopra @siddharthchopra89 @tam2cul @sudeepdutt #sarojbhogal”. As expected, she has thanked her family and fans for the warm wishes and interestingly, she called herself ‘Island Queen’.
An hour later, she posted the final picture that has a close up shot of the pretty actress. “Dekhti hai … jis tarah se teri nazrein.. mujhein.. main khud Ko chupaon kahaan… #birthdayfeels” was the text, which is a line from the popular song ‘Jadoo Hai Nasha Hai’ from Bipasha Basu-John Abraham starrer Jism. No wonder that the positivity in these uploads along with Priyanka’s ‘Island Queen’ look has been lapped up by her fans.
On the film front, Priyanka Chopra had a release last month, the Hollywood film Baywatch, co-starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. She is currently working on two more Hollywood projects – A Kid Like Jake, co-starring Claire Danes and Ann Dowd and directed by Silas Howard, and Todd Strauss-Schulson’s romcom Isn’t It Romantic?, featuring Betty Gilpin and Liam Hemsworth. In Bollywood, she is expected to begin work on Sahir Ludhianvi biopic, Gustakhiyan, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She’s also working on third season of international television show Quantico.
