Looks like Bollywood has been significantly hit by the swine flu bug. After superstar Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao, its Richa Chadha now who has fallen prey to the H1N1 virus. Richa Chadha revealed that she fell sick immediately after she was back from her trip to USA. It was last week that she was diagnosed positive for H1N1. She was on bed rest since but she revealed that she is able to move around a little since yesterday.
What’s surprising is that despite being diagnosed with swine flu, that is contagious and can spread when the affected person comes in contact with others, she will be attending the trailer launch of her upcoming film Fukrey Returns today. But she will be taking the necessary precautions, as recommended by her doctor, and would be wearing a mask at the event.
Three days ago, Richa Chadha did post a picture of hers in her house wearing a mask. The caption of the picture was, “I wasn’t taking a break so God gave me one. Hehe. #MeTime?” She didn’t however reveal that she is suffering from swine flu and it’s only today that she opened up about her condition.
On the work front, Richa Chadha was recently seen in the web series Inside Edge, co-starring Vivek Oberoi and Angad Bedi. It was directed by Karan Anushman and was produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Fukrey Returns, meanwhile, is all set to release on December 8 and it is the sequel of 2013’s sleeper hit Fukrey. It co-stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh and Ali Fazal and is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Also, she will lead a judges’ panel for upcoming reality show, ‘Queens Of Comedy’.
