Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra pay heartfelt tributes on Yash Chopra’s 85th birth anniversary features

Legendary late filmmaker Yash Chopra was one of the most favourite filmmakers of his time. The film industry absolutely loved him and his dedication towards his craft. From Shah Rukh Khan to Karan Johar, Juhi Chawla to Kajol, Yash Chopra gave some of the greatest hits of all times and created magic with his love stories.

On Wednesday, Bollywood celebrities like Rakesh Roshan, Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra and Anushka Sharma remembered him on his 85th birth anniversary by sharing heartfelt messages. Karan Johar always considered Yash Chopra as his father and the Chopras as his family. His message was pretty emotional. Anushka Sharma was lucky enough to make her debut under YRF banner. She even got to be in Yash Chopra’s last film Jab Tak Hain Jaan before he retired.

In 1971, Yash Chopra launched his production company, Yash Raj Films (YRF) with Daag. Some of his most iconic films are Deewar, Kabhie Kabhie and Trishul. His directorial include Chandni, Lamhe and Darr. He announced his retirement after Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012. He bagged six National Film Awards and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2001 and the Padma Bhushan in 2005 for his contributions to Indian cinema.
