With each film an actor always tries to outdo himself in terms of performance. Well, for the soon to release film Golmaal Again, the director Rohit Shetty made it a point to tell his cast members that he wanted them to surpass their performance in the previous release Golmaal 3. However, the task was not an easy one and Rohit decided to take a novel approach to encourage the leading men comprising of Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu.
In fact, we hear that Rohit arranged a special screening of the film Golmaal 3 for the cast, and watching that the entire cast were totally charged to do their best. Commenting on the same, Shreyas Talpade recalled that Rohit was clear right from the stat that the entire cast would have to go past their last film’s performance and when he felt that the energy and chemistry failed to meet expectations, he screened Golmaal 3. Further talking about the effects of that screening, Shreyas added that revisiting that movie gave them the required momentum.
Golmaal Again, like mentioned before, although retains its male cast, it will have new female leads in the form of Parineeti Chopra and Tabu. Both of them are new to the franchise with Parineeti replacing Kareena Kapoor Khan who was in the midst of her pregnancy when the film was being shot.
As for the film Golmaal Again it is slated to hit screens on October 20.
