“I will be a great dad” – exults Ranveer Singh

He is known for his extreme enthusiasm. Ranveer Singh, who can go to any lengths for his character, is all set to experiment with a negative role as Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. As he gets ready to welcome yet another magnum opus, the popular actor has a candid chat with GQ India.

In yet another unabashed interview, Ranveer Singh speaks about having a family of his own and what he finds so appealing about families. It is not an unknown fact that from jokes to memes to media reports, Ranveer Singh more than often is linked to his Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and now Padmaavat co-star Deepika Padukone. While the two have sizzled on screen, the two have also expressed fondness for each other in real life but never announced their relationship.

Amidst the interview when the actor was once again questioned about the continuous reports that talk about his relationship followed by frequent rumours of his break up and patch up with Deepika Padukone, the actor not only smartly dodges the topic but responds to the same with a general answer stating that there is only one person who is the whole and soul, not taking any names.

On the other hand, he goes on to make an interesting revelation about his thoughts on family planning further asserting that he would make a fantastic father. “I want to be the best family man possible. I want to raise children, two of them. I think I’ll make a great dad,” Ranveer Singh is quoted by the magazine.

Well, expect uninhibited Ranveer Singh to make a unique statement and one would never return disappointed!
