Raveena Tandon has time and again supported varied causes and from what we hear, the actress has reportedly has also extended a lending hand to promote certain causes without charging a penny. One amongst them is the act of rescuing animals and the actress has been associated with such initiatives in the past in collaboration with NGOs since raising funds for Ethical Treatment of Animals in 2002. Now, an owl caught her attention and Raveena didn’t think twice before becoming its saviour.

Yes, Raveena Tandon recently rescued an owl from her residential premises in Mumbai and handed it over to the renowned organization PETA. It so happened that the owl was being attacked by a group of crows and hence it had fallen off from a tree near Raveena’s residence. The actress, knowing her love for animals, decided to immediately act upon it and rescued it.

Raveena Tandon went on to contact PETA to hand over the bird which will be later set free in the night by the authorities of the organization. Furthermore, it is being said that it is not the first time where Raveena has turned saviour. Prior to this, she has saved over four owls whose population seems to be dwindling in the city owing to the immense increase in the pollution.

On the work front, Raveena Tandon was last seen in 2017 in films like Onir’s Shab in which she plays the role of a high profile socialite and Maatr which highlighted the issue of extreme sexual violence faced by females.
