Our #GirlCrush and favourite millennial, Alia Bhatt is back on the style turf! The undisputed millennial fashionista who never fails to give us a dose of that signature impeccable style with her glorious #OOTDs and #OOTNs has jumped aboard the promotional bandwagon. The second week of Raazi promotions saw Alia Bhatt drive away our midweek blues with the prettiest blue dress and the subtlest beauty game in tow! Styled by her go –to stylists Ami Patel and Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya, the trio have mastered the knack to spruce up the millennial style quotient every now and then, making us swoon for more. Alia Bhatt left her contemporaries wide-eyed swiftly doling out terrific performances with Highway, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi, and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. In addition to an exuberant and brilliant on-screen presence, her off-screen avatars, too, are quite sought-after, for the apparent sartorial influence on the millennial generation – a vibe that Vogue aptly tagged as The Age of Alia last year. Alia seems to have conspired of an ethnic style play for the promotions of Raazi, as she flaunted those soothing summer pastels last week.
The espionage thriller, Raazi chronicles the tale of a young Indian woman Sehmat, who is married off to a Pakistani boy hailing from a family of army-men and intensely trained to be a spy. With Alia Bhatt being the focal point of this trailer, the trailer gave us ample glimpses of a gamut of emotions leaving us lusting for more. Alia wore a floor-length blue dress from the House Of Kotwara featuring a halter neckline and floral motifs of varied sizes all over teamed with a similar dupatta. Flaunting this season’s staple no make-up make-up look of nude pink lips and delicately lined eyes, courtesy makeup artist Puneet Saini, Alia’s hair was styled in soft waves with a middle parting, courtesy hair stylist Priyanka Borkar. Raazi, directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions also features Vicky Kaushal. The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat and is scheduled for a release on May 11, 2018.
