Blurring the lines between contemporary and traditional bridal silhouettes, Abhinav Mishra’s zany creations find a worthy muse in the millennial, Diana Penty. Representing the idea of the woman of today, Diana is seen flitting one enchanting look to another. Minimalist is what describes her style play the best. She isn’t the one to jump into the trend bandwagon and blindly ape styles. Innately sartorial and opting for silhouettes, cuts and colours that suit her tall and toned frame, Diana Penty is a style chameleon. She is equally alluring in traditional as well as western ensembles with signature understated elegance. Diana made her way into our hearts with the endearing roles of Meera in Cocktail, Harpreet aka Happy Kaur in Happy Bhaag Jayegi. Currently, she is up and about promoting her upcoming film, Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran.

The photo-shoot has been styled by fashion editor, Ayesha Amin Nigam with makeup done to perfection to suit each ethnic creation by celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni. The photo-shoot has been shot by ace photographer, Rohan Shrestha. Showcasing Abhinav Mishra’s Spring Summer collection for Brides Today’s latest issue, Diana is a fearless muse in her choices and beautifully pulls off Western and Indian silhouettes.

Diana looks strikingly beautiful here in a classic chanderi silk mirror work peplum kurta and lehenga. She tops off the look with soft waves and a dewy makeup.

On the professional front, Diana will be seen essaying the role of Captain Ambalika in Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran that is based on the biggest secret mission undertaken by the Indian Government when five nuclear bombs were tested in the Pokhran range in 1998. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the movie is scheduled for a release on May 25.
