It was a wedding to remember as actress Meghan Markle tied the knot with Prince Harry on May 19 at Windsor Castle. The couple secretly began dating in 2016 and announced their engagement on November 17. As Meghan Markle walked down the aisle, many of her friends and family members were in attendance including our Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra and her Suits castmates.
The royal wedding was watched by over billion people around the globe. As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said their ‘I dos’, they were given the new titles of Your Highness The Duke of Sussex and Her Highness The Duchess of Sussex. Priyanka Chopra, who attended both the royal wedding and the reception, was a proud and happy friend and had the most amazing wishes for the newlywed couple. Sharing beautiful photographs from the wedding day, she wrote, “Every once in a while there is a moment when time stands still.. that happened today.. You my friend.. were the epitome of grace, love and beauty. Every choice made at this wedding by you both will go down in history, not just because it was your wedding but because this incredible wedding stood for change and hope. Both things that the world needs desperately. Thank you for being the perfect picture of all things good.. seeing your union and love blessed in front of my eyes Made me so happy.. and tear up! I wish you both love happiness and togetherness always.”
Then, Priyanka Chopra went onto share pictures from the wedding day with the Team Bride. The bridal side included Meghan Markle’s Suits co-stars and close friends, Abigail Sepncer, Gabriel Macht, Patrick J Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman among others. She even posed with a couple of other guests including The Late Late Show host James Corden and his wife. She captioned the series images, “Bridal crew #squad.”
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra starrer Quantico has been cancelled at ABC network. The third season of Quantico will air the rest of episodes. The season finale, which is the 13th episode, will be the series finale. She will soon begin shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat which stars Salman Khan and Disha Patani.
