After much controversy, not only has Kedarnath come back on track but the leading lady of the film has already completed her portions. Sara Ali Khan has wrapped up her portions of the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer. And the proof of it is the recent Instagram post by filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor.
For the uninitiated, let us tell you that Sara Ali Khan took a break from her Simmba shoot as she returned to the sets of Kedarnath. Simmba is currently being shot in Hyderabad in a single schedule. Whereas, the Sushant Singh Rajput film kicked off its Mumbai schedule a few weeks ago. Now, Abhishek Kapoor decided to share about Sara Ali Khan wrapping up Kedarnath on the social media platform.
He confirmed it on Instagram by saying, “Today is the last day of shoot for this #pataka . Gonna miss being on set with this #puppyface #saraalikhan @sushantsinghrajput @pragyadav @guyintheskypictures @rsvpmovies #ronniescrewvala #kedarnath #kedarnaththemovie.
Not too long ago, Abhishek Kapoor had threatened to take legal action against Sara Ali Khan for kicking off Simmba. The filmmaker wanted the actress to dedicate ample time for Kedarnath. The film, which faced delay due to production issues, was clashing with the schedule of Simmba followed by which Abhishek decided to move the court.
Abhishek Kapoor was said to be upset with the fact that while Kedarnath was supposed to be the launching vehicle of Sara, the Rohit Shetty directorial would probably release before, thereby taking away Abhishek’s opportunity of launching Sara in Bollywood. But the said matter was resolved amicably by Saif Ali Khan, after which Sara Ali Khan promised to juggle between schedules.
Keeping up to her promise, Sara Ali Khan has now completed Kedarnath. And if reports are to be believed, she will next take off to Hyderabad to finish Simmba.
Kedarnath is expected to be a love story set against the backdrop of Uttarakhand floods and is slated to release on November 30.
