It is a known fact that Madhuri Dixit shares the judge panel along with filmmaker Shashank Khaitan and choreographer Tushar Kalia. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar had appeared on the show alongside his Gold leading lady Mouni Roy, who plays the role of his wife in the film. Whilst Mouni bonded with her Naagin costar Arjun Bijlani, who is also the host of the show, Akshay and Madhuri were asked to do a small performance on stage for all the fans.

The duo not only obliged but recreated moments from the romantic chartbuster, ‘Ab Tere Dil Mein’ from their film Aarzoo. In fact, it seems that Madhuri and Akshay left onlookers surprised with the fact that they remembered the steps from the song that released in the late 90s. The picture from the sets of Dance Deewane has gone viral with fans gushing about the stars and their adorable performance.

Aarzoo also featured Saif Ali Khan in a supporting role. Besides this film, Akshay Kumar and Madhuri Dixit also shared screen space in the Yash Chopra cult romantic film Dil Toh Pagal Hai which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Karisma Kapoor. The film featured them in the role of childhood best friends.

Speaking of Gold, the film is a period hockey drama inspired by Reema Kagti. Although it is not a biopic, it is based on real life incidents that unfolded when India won the Olympics in hockey in 1948 which was its first win post-Independence. The film releases on August 15, marking the occasion of Independence Day.
