Mumbai: Arjun Kapoor, the son of the famed filmmaker Boney Kapoor and the nephew of the internationally famed star Anil Kapoor, is all geared up now and has pulled his socks up for making his cinematic debut as an actor is the upcoming film, ‘Ishaqzaade’ starring opposite him the ravishingly dusky classy beauty Parineeti Chopra who impressed the audiences with her class of acting in debut vehicle ‘Ladis vs/ Ricky Bahl’. In this glittering world of Bollywood, the comparisons of the star kids are widely made and Arjun too is the part of this game. But Arjun Kapoor is perfectly okay with these comparisons and chips in excitedly that it is inevitable.
He goes on saying that these comparisons among the stars kids are unavoidable, you cannot take your eyes off. He adds that he is pretty fine with them as long as each and every star has his quota of work. Among the new stars kids, who are making their mark in the entertainment industry, Arjun is impressed with the superlative acting skills and persona of Ranbir Kapoor. Boney’s son adds that he wants to be there where Ranbir is today. He makes Ranbir Kapoor, the son of yesteryears actors – Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, his idol and wants to land there where Ranbir is these day. At the same time, he also makes the things clear saying that it does not mean that other stars’ kids are not doing well. He praises Imran Khan and Shahid Kapoor also. But he seems to be pretty impressed with the success of Ranbir Kapoor that has shoved him to true bigger heights in the industry.
Arjun also mentions that time has changed now – no number game is there in the industry these days since the fraternity has work for all.
Well, it is good to make Ranbir his idol, as he is really enjoying the Bollywood scene nowadays.
