Priyanka Chopra is all over the news after her engagement with Nick Jonas and impending marriage him with. There are rumours flying fast and thick about her prospective wedding dates. To add fuel to the fire, Nick Jonas recently appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show and well, opened up about his engagement ceremony with PC and also dished out details about their love story. His lady was sitting in the audience enjoying the show! She also joked around that her favourite nickname for them is ‘PRICK’. Back home too there is lot of excitement pertaining to the Priyanka-Nick relationship and marriage. Karan Johar who is PC’s friend and colleague addressed this topic on his radio show recently. He gave an apt reply to everyone questioning PC’s decision of dating and marrying Nick Jonas who is about a decade younger than her. Karan pointed out society’s double standards because they readily accept couples where the man is much older than his partner. Karan elaborated, “Relationship should not be about it. I am very liberal and progressive among these things. I have never thought, ‘Oh, your man should be older than you.’ Why? Why should we say these things? If you find compatibility and you find a relationship of comfort, who cares who’s older than who.”

He added, “Who made these rules that the man should be older? Like sometimes I have heard members of my family say things like this. Sometimes, I feel that’s the saving grace of the relationship. Sometimes the maturity that a woman brings to the table, I think it can actually make sure that the relationship has a strong binding. So, I really don’t buy all these things, it doesn’t make sense to me.”

Priyanka would sure be happy after she comes to know she has full support from the industry! On professional front, she is working on Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink with her Dil Dhadakne Do co-star Farhan Akhtar.
