In his upcoming film Teri Meri Kahaani, Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor will be seen paying a tribute to the legendary Shammi Kappor. Shahid has been a big fan and admirer of the late dancing star and has grown up watching his films.
For the track set in the 1960s, director Kunal Kohli gave Shahid a video compilation of Shammi Kapoor's films and songs to pick up the nuances of his mannerisms, body language and style of wooing the ladies. Shahid and Priyanka have also danced on a number 'Dil Ko Uff Tujhpe Marna Aa Aaya', penned by Prasoon Joshi, as a homage to the yesteryears actor.
Kunal Kohli also plans to invite the Kapoor khandaan for a special screening of Teri Meri Kahaani.
Shahid had earlier paid a tribute to Shammi Kapoor at the Zee Awards show, along with Ranbir Kapoor.
